Job Description:

A Leading Medical Practice in Calliope is Seeking a General Practitioner

The health-workforce-queensland is seeking passionate and skilled General Practitioners to join their team in a leading medical practice in Calliope. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, where professional growth and well-being are a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient consultations and provide general medical care
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses, injuries, and health conditions
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as required
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle advice to patients
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or working towards it
  • Eligible for current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Strong clinical skills and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
