**Job Overview:**

Barto Gold is a gold explorer, developer, and producer operating since 2009, focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation includes a processing plant, three active underground mines, two active open pits, with new mines started as part of the company's 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000 oz/pa by 2028.

This is a permanent role on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available.

  • Reporting to the Mine Foreman, this role works on a back-to-back roster and carries out the statutory duties and responsibilities of an Underground Shift Supervisor.
  • The Underground Shift Supervisor will be responsible for liaising with the mine operations teams and other departments to meet all safety, cost, and production targets.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must hold WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a similar role
  • Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to speak with all levels within the organisation
  • Be able to monitor your crews competencies and training requirements
  • Current C class WA Drivers licence
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
  • A solid work ethic and strong desire to do things safely and efficiently
