The Changeable and Digital Collections Senior Officer is responsible for developing and implementing new strategies for managing the Museum's digital collections.
Key Objectives- To improve the way the Museum collects, documents, stores, and conserves its digital collections.
- To enhance access to the Museum's collections by providing knowledge and guidance on digital collecting standards and emerging trends.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of new ways to classify, describe, and document the Museum's collections.
The Changeable and Digital Collections Senior Officer will work collaboratively to ensure that all collection systems are properly managed, and data integrity is maintained.
Collections Management and CareThis position plays a key role in establishing and recommending acquisition processes, collection management and care, and display relating to the Museum's digital cultural objects and collecting ambitions.
Staff Support and DevelopmentThe Changeable and Digital Collections Senior Officer will provide knowledge and guidance to staff on digital collecting standards and emerging trends in digital collections management.
