**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Counsellor Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing financial counselling services to clients and communities.

This role offers an opportunity to transition into financial counselling while studying Diploma in Financial Counselling. You will conduct thorough assessment processes to ensure clients receive a prompt and efficient service, integrating with state-wide telephone financial counselling service (Moneycare).

You will also operate the local Moneycare practice with autonomy, managing your own scheduling, case load, and reporting of statistical data.

  • Conduct group community education sessions on financial literacy and capability.
  • Provide holistic financial counselling and advocacy services to people in financial difficulty or crisis.

The ideal candidate will have a willingness to undertake Diploma of Community Services - Financial Counselling or have commenced Diploma of Financial Counselling.

They will also have minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, accreditation as a Financial Counsellor, and knowledge of relevant legislation and information pertaining to financial issues.

Key skills include high level interpersonal, active listening, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency working within a Windows Office environment.
