As a Career Guidance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to students and families, helping them navigate the complexities of international education systems and migration pathways.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions to identify students' strengths, interests, and goals, and develop personalized study and career pathways.
- Assisting with course selection, university placement, admissions, scholarships, and visa applications to ensure seamless transitions for students.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global education systems, visa requirements, and migration regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
- Building strong relationships with universities, colleges, and migration professionals to expand opportunities for students.
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records to ensure timely application follow-ups and meet client expectations.
- Staying informed on policy changes, market trends, and country-specific education regulations to adapt strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 2–3 years of experience in career guidance or a related advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of global education systems, visa requirements, and migration pathways.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple student cases.
- A proactive and empathetic attitude with a passion for student success.
