What You'll Be DoingAs a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing first-line medical care to patients, including assessment, investigation, treatment, and referral for ongoing non-inpatient care or admission/transfer for inpatient care and discharge of patients. You will work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and have high-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia. You will also need to have at least three years' postgraduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent) and be able to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
