Council is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Landscape Architect to join its Public Spaces Design team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of landscape architecture, designing sustainable and functional open spaces.

The role involves assisting with the design of public spaces, preparing landscape plans and detailed drawings, and providing technical advice to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in landscape architecture or a related field, and demonstrated skills in using design applications such as AutoCAD/Vectorworks and Adobe CC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design of public spaces: Assist in the design of parks, gardens, and other public spaces, ensuring they are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Landscape planning: Prepare landscape plans and detailed drawings for Council's projects, taking into account the needs of the community and the environment.
  • Technical advice: Provide technical advice to stakeholders, including Council staff, contractors, and members of the public, on matters related to landscape architecture.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree or diploma in landscape architecture or a related field.
  • Skills: Demonstrated skills in using design applications such as AutoCAD/Vectorworks and Adobe CC.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
