About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled psychiatrist to join our innovative virtual mental health service in New South Wales.

The role will involve providing high-quality services using cutting-edge telehealth technology, working with expert multidisciplinary clinicians to deliver timely access to individualized care for consumers across a geographically dispersed local health district.

You will have the opportunity to lead teams and virtually serve consumers in the community and emergency departments, as well as manage inpatients within the service.

Key Requirements
  • Specialist registration or eligibility for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA;
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition;
  • Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position;
  • Proven capacity and/or experience in providing effective high-quality services in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position;
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching and training both undergraduate and postgraduate students and other staff.
Package

We offer a highly competitive salary package that includes:

  • Base FTE Salary: $186,241 - $251,618 (dependent on experience);
  • Expected FTE Salary: $262,376 - $354,479 with allowances;
  • Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme up to $10,000 depending on position and location;
