Taronga Zoo's Horticultural Team is seeking a motivated and willing-to-learn Horticulturist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver, or adult apprentice, to enter the Trades industry and complete their apprenticeship.

This role offers a unique chance to work in the zoo's grounds, sometimes on animal exhibit facilities. You will be part of a team that takes care of exhibits such as meercats, chimps, gorillas, tigers and many more.

As part of this role, you will be supported to complete one paid day per week of trade studies at TAFE, which will help you develop your skills and knowledge in horticulture.
