Auxiliary Firefighter Role

As part of the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, you'll play a vital role in ensuring community safety and emergency preparedness. Your responsibilities will include responding to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety through education, and participating in regular drills and training sessions to develop and maintain competencies. You'll also contribute to the upkeep and hygiene of station facilities, ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment, and contribute to incident reporting and general station administration.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong understanding of how your work aligns with organisational objectives, be able to respond flexibly to change, and focus on delivering high-quality results. You'll also need to model professional and ethical behaviour, display rigour in analysis, and apply specialist knowledge and skills.
Capabilities
