Outside School Hours Care Coordinator Assistant

Job Overview
This is a permanent part-time position for an Assistant Coordinator in Outside School Hours Care.
The role involves working closely with the Coordinator to provide programs for children aged 5 - 12 years in Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.
- Regular evaluation of the program to ensure it meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework will be a key responsibility.
- Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required.
- Providing guidance and support to the team on best practice programming as an Educational Leader.
- Assisting with administrative tasks and efficient day-to-day operation of the service.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires:
- Program evaluation and development.
- Families liaison and communication.
- Team leadership and guidance.
- Administrative tasks and operational management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications or significant experience in working in outside school hours care.
- Skills and experience in team leadership.
- Completion of the 'Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk' certificate.
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework.
- Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
- Working With Children Check.
