The City of Armadale is a fast-growing community in Western Australia, with over 100,000 residents. We are seeking an experienced Contract Management Specialist to join our team and contribute to shaping trust, probity, and performance.

About the Role\

This is a pivotal role that requires strong expertise in contract management within a regulated environment. You will be responsible for safeguarding the City's integrity and delivering value-for-money outcomes across major services and projects.

  • Take accountability for medium to high-risk contracts from award to close-out ensuring probity, governance, and performance.
  • Monitor supplier delivery, manage variations and disputes, and protect the City's legal, financial, and reputational interests.
  • Be the trusted advisor to leaders and teams on contract obligations, supplier performance, and risk.
  • Build organisational capability by coaching staff and improving frameworks, templates, and processes.

You bring strong experience in contract management, confident navigating complex contracts, managing risks and disputes, and translating technical detail into clear advice for leaders. Membership of CIPS or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
