Job Title: Trades Assistant\

As a Trades Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance team. You will work closely with the Maintenance Co-ordinator to carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent work-life balance. You will be required to work from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Conduct daily and monthly inspections and preventative maintenance procedures to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Assist and action reactionary maintenance to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Use your attention to detail to identify maintenance issues that require attention and report them to the Maintenance Co-ordinator.
  • Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

  • You should have experience in a similar role or trade qualification. This will enable you to hit the ground running and make a positive contribution to the team.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take direction as required.
  • High level of attention to detail with ability to identify maintenance issues.
  • Clear and concise communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
