About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team of skilled professionals working in a Cardiac Cath Lab at Gold Coast Private Hospital. As a registered nurse, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that operates across three theatres, covering Cardiac, Vascular, and Electrophysiology procedures.

We are seeking an experienced registered nurse with a strong background in cardiac cath lab nursing or surgical cardiac experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to establish professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Provide Safe and Effective Care: Deliver evidenced-based nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Supervise and Mentor Nursing Team Members: Guide and direct nursing staff to ensure they provide high-quality care and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Medical Professionals: Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure beneficial outcomes for all patients.
  • Drive Clinical Audits: Coordinate and participate in clinical audits to evaluate the quality of patient care and identify opportunities for improvement.
