Job Title: Experienced Glazier Wanted

AJ Aluminium Pty Ltd is a leading commercial window and door manufacturer seeking a skilled glazier for a full-time position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing a wide range of products for the building and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess worksite risks and ensure a safe working environment
  • Choose the most suitable glass products for each project
  • Measure and fit new glass, ensuring precision and quality
  • Seal glass and make everything watertight for a secure finish
  • Operate a crane with suction cups to lift glass into place, requiring precision and care
  • Work with various materials, including plastic, laminates, and treatments that enhance glass safety and strength
  • Handle, coat, etch, or trim glass as required, meeting industry standards
  • Perform hack outs as needed, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to plan and manage orders, monitoring progress and recommending efficiency improvements
  • Load and arrange glass and mirrors onto delivery trucks, ensuring efficient logistics
  • Install glass into windows and doors, requiring attention to detail and precision

Requirements:

  • Suitably qualified with a relevant Cert IV qualification or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 years of experience
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a production setting, demonstrating expertise and reliability

  • Competency across all tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to caulk and work with various materials
  • Capacity to work both unsupervised and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Valid driver's license and car, with a white card and safety-oriented mindset
  • EWP (Elevated Working Platform) and boom ticket qualifications
