Stock Research Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Stock Research Analyst to join our team. As a key member, you will provide stock coverage in the small cap space within the Australian listed market.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough analysis, develop financial models and company/industry insights to inform stock recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial modelling and excellent interpersonal sensitivity.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor degree or above in a business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major. Additionally, 3-10 years' experience as a research associate/analyst is highly desirable.

  • Develop proactive and differentiated research on the small cap sector
  • Create financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage
  • Respond to market news, earnings releases, corporate developments and other market-moving information when necessary
  • Maintain key client relationships and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial modelling
  • Excellent interpersonal sensitivity and communication skills
  • High sense of commercial awareness and ability to adapt to changing market conditions
