Call for Submissions: Art Exhibition

We invite artists to participate in a juried art exhibition at the Wellington County Museum. This event is a partnership between the Elora Fergus Arts Council and the Wellington County Museum & Archives.

About the Exhibition

The exhibition will feature artworks from local artists residing in Wellington, Dufferin, Grey, Huron, Perth, and the City of Guelph. The showcase will run from March 27 to May 25, 2025.

The exhibition aims to promote local talent and provide a platform for artists to showcase their work. We encourage all interested artists to participate and submit their applications by the deadline.

Registration Process

To register, please visit the ARTISTS page of our website and follow the online submission process. You will need to upload JPG images of your artwork as part of the registration. These images will not be used in the jurying process.

Artists submitting works that feature recognizable faces must obtain the signed consent of the subject(s) on our Consent and Release Form. Please note that this form must be submitted when dropping off your work.

What to Prepare
  1. Artwork title, medium, and size
  2. Artwork value (for insurance) and whether it is for sale
  3. Artwork images ready and labelled using the convention: ArtworkNumber_Lastname.jpg
  4. An optional description of your approach, style or mediums or anything else that is unique to your work (500 character limit)

In-person artwork drop offs will take place at the Nicholas Keith Room of the Wellington County Museum and Archives. We wish all participating artists the best of luck and welcome any questions you may have regarding the online submission process.
