Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate individuals who can provide companionship and support to our residents. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage in various activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spending quality time with residents, engaging in conversation, reading aloud, playing games, or simply offering a listening ear.
  • Assisting with recreational activities such as arts and crafts, music appreciation, light exercise, gardening, or group outings.
  • Providing practical support with light tasks around the cottage, maintaining a comfortable and homely atmosphere.
  • Offering administrative assistance with organisational tasks, such as preparing welcome packets for new residents.
Requirements:

We welcome individuals from all walks of life who possess empathy, patience, reliability, and a positive attitude. No prior experience is necessary, but qualities like these are highly valued. All volunteers undergo a thorough orientation process and receive the necessary training to ensure they feel confident and prepared for their roles.
