At St Agnes' Catholic Parish - Port Macquarie, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in aged care.
">The successful applicant will work within our innovative small-household model, providing holistic health care to residents living with dementia.
- We are looking for an experienced RN who can assess, monitor and treat residents in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build collaborative relationships with villagers, family members, health professionals and the wider village team.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
Salary and Benefits:
- An attractive remuneration package including $48.13– $60.69 Per Hour (based on part-time hours) plus shift and penalty allowances.
- Salary Packaging options of up to $15,900 Tax Free, plus $2,650 Meals & Entertainment Card.
- 17.5% annual leave loading.
- 9 weeks paid maternity leave.
About the Role:
You will partner with residents in their ongoing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to ensure they receive the individually specific care they need for their health and wellbeing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated competence, clinical skills and knowledge to assess, monitor and treat residents.
- Current knowledge of Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and aged care related legislation.
- Experience and knowledge working with aged people living with dementia.
