Deputy Principal

About the Role:

This Deputy Principal position is an exciting opportunity to lead in numerous aspects of school life, particularly on the business side. The school offers an alternative and unique approach to education, allowing students to blossom into independent thinkers and creating space for equitable and enjoyable learning for all.

The school is set against the backdrop of a rainforest and uses its natural environment in its teaching. The successful candidate will have a business mind and be able to assist with leading the school in various aspects, including wellbeing, staff development, recruitment, finances, strategy, business management, and community relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the school in numerous aspects of life, such as wellbeing, staff development, recruitment, finances, strategy, business management, and community relations.
• Support the Principal in their leadership role.
• Ability to recontextualize the role depending on experience.

Requirements:

• QCT registration.
• Business acumen, qualification, or experience.
• Either an equal level leadership role experience or a lower level.
• Excitement to lead and do so with an engaging, understanding, and collaborative style.
• Amazing communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
