Our Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum

The Role

We seek an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the preparation and delivery of estimates, budgets, and cost plans for civil foundation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, industry expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across project teams to ensure accurate and competitive project costing.

Duties:

  • Develop, manage, and present comprehensive estimates, budgets, and cost plans for civil foundation, retention, and piling projects.
  • Closely collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project costing.
  • Analyse project specifications, tender documents, and schedules to produce precise cost estimates.
  • Participate in cost-saving strategies without compromising project timelines or quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of a qualification in Estimation, such as a Certificate IV in Building Project Support (Estimator) or a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5-10 + years experience as an estimator within the civil construction industry, or 3+ years as a Senior Estimator.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of TMR road specifications and piling requirements for road projects to ensure compliance and accuracy in cost estimates.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a commitment to quality.
