Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at an Early Learning Centre in Collingwood. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that cater to individual learner needs
  • Create a stimulating environment that promotes cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being of students
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and development
  • Contribute to the creation, development, and evaluation of curriculum
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends, early childhood practices, and curriculum developments

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
  • Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management qualifications
  • Current Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Years (or willingness to undertake training)
  • Right to work in Australia

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Diploma Qualified Educator in an Early Childhood setting
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
  • Ability to adapt and demonstrate strong pedagogical knowledge of the EYLF
  • Competent level of English, both written and spoken
