Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced midwife to deliver high-quality, woman-centred care to patients and their families in a critical frontline role.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team providing compassionate care in a continuity of care model. The successful candidate will work autonomously and collaboratively as a team to support women with low-risk pregnancies.

The role involves delivering care during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period, including on-call duties and a seven-day roster.

To be successful in this role, you will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Midwife and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver woman-centred midwifery care during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within a small group practice team to provide continuity of care for women with low-risk pregnancies.
  • Coordinate complex care presentations and refer to appropriate specialists as needed.
  • Provide home visits and support early discharge where postnatal care is delivered in the home setting.
  • Participate in on-call duties and a seven-day roster.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Midwife.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
