Job Title: Senior Data Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Leader to join our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful data governance and architecture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our data strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Design and deliver modern data solutions, pipelines, and integrations that meet business needs.
  • Provide expert technical ownership of our data architecture, optimising databases for performance, scalability, and compliance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to champion a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Mentor and uplift data capability across the organisation, embedding continuous improvement practices.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles, with hands-on expertise in enterprise data platforms.
  • Proven delivery of data lakes, warehouses, pipelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and modern programming languages such as Python, R, or Spark.
  • Practical understanding of metadata management, compliance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex data concepts in plain language.
