Fortescue Iron Ore: A Leading Role in Decarbonisation
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Eliwana mine, located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks related to electrical and instrumentation equipment/systems. Key responsibilities include scoping continuous improvement opportunities, raising notifications and work orders, breakdown and fault finding on Fixed Plant, and statutory testing and inspections.
About the Opportunity
- A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
- A 7D/7N/14R roster with FIFO ex Perth
Requirements and Qualifications
- An electrical trade qualification and current WA 'A' class electrical workers licence
- High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching
- At least 2 years of experience as an electrical tradesperson or Electrical / Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment
- Experience in PLC systems and control communication systems
- Basic instrumentation experience
- Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP (desirable)
