This role is pivotal in driving People Safety continuous improvement initiatives across operational streams, ensuring best practices are applied, safety outcomes are achieved, and processes are in place for legislative compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Research WHS legislation, emerging trends, and best practices to assess impacts and opportunities for Virgin Australia.
- Support frontline leaders in cultural change and embed a proactive safety mindset.
- Develop effective communication strategies to drive WHS and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide insightful analysis and reporting to support decision-making and compliance.
We're looking for an experienced professional with:
- A Tertiary Qualification in WHS or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Work Health Safety and/or Workplace Wellbeing within Aviation, resource, or energy sectors.
- A minimum of 2 years experience implementing systems and risk management programs within industry.
