Event Coordinator Position

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team.

  • Creating and distributing banquet event orders
  • Preparing menus, signage, and floor plans for events
  • Liaising with the Food and Beverage department and Kitchen
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Sales of hotel events spaces and accommodation
  • Reporting, filing, and internal communications

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a key role in the planning and execution of events at our hotel.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of events including setup, logistics, and communication with clients and vendors
  • Ensure seamless execution of events through effective time management and attention to detail
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to ensure repeat business
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and sales initiatives

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently and work well under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office suite with excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous experience in sales and catering software packages desirable
  • Experience in a similar 5-star environment preferred
