About the Role

As a Cloud Engineer Team Lead in our Financial Services team, you will be responsible for guiding your team to tackle complex technical issues and deliver exceptional support to high-stakes Australian businesses. Your leadership skills will ensure your team has everything they need to excel, from resourcing and training to professional development.

You will mentor developers of various skills and backgrounds, helping them grow professionally and technically. When things are running smoothly, you'll lead improvement on our customer solutions by driving focused automation, CICD, and optimization activities. We'll invest in your certifications and training to help you become the best DevOps engineer possible.

Technical Requirements
  • Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, and Infrastructure expertise
  • RedHat OpenShift experience
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto and Ubuntu
About You
  • Proven experience leading a technical team
  • A passion for DevOps and following best practices like CI/CD and automation
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Incident management expertise, particularly with major incidents and ITIL
  • Configuration management and automation technology experience
  • Azure infrastructure solution maintenance experience on Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Administration, patch management, backup, and restore process understanding
  • Prior experience with Azure DevOps, Azure AD, and GitHub or similar code repositories and automated build and release pipelines
  • Debugging and troubleshooting expertise across multiple integration components and technology stacks
  • Operational tools experience around logging, monitoring, and event management
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a flexible and dynamic managed services environment
