About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified General Practitioner to join our team at Charterhouse Medical. As a Correctional General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to patients of all ages
  • Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and diagnoses
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Specialist Registration with AHPRA
  • Extensive relevant postgraduate clinical experience, including General Practice and Emergency medicine
  • Experience and skill working with computerised patient information management systems and office applications
  • Preparedness to undertake cross-cultural training and mentorship and an ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures
