About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agribusiness Executive to join our Regional and Agribusiness banking team (RAB) at the Commonwealth Bank. As an Agribusiness Executive, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our agribusiness clients, providing them with tailored financial solutions to support their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agribusiness clients, understanding their individual needs and providing them with expert advice and guidance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with clients to develop and implement tailored financial solutions.
  • Consult with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business needs, and work with product specialists to deliver a range of financial solutions.
  • Drive strategy and deal execution, using market intelligence and specialist knowledge of agribusiness to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Own and drive proactive risk management responsibilities, working collaboratively with analyst teams to support high-quality credit submissions.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in engaging with and leading a successful portfolio of agribusiness or commercial banking clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a desire to further develop financial skills.
  • Real passion for relationship management and a desire to embed yourself within the regional community, with a particular focus on agribusiness clients.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Agribusiness highly regarded.
