Kolbe Catholic College, Greenvale Lakes, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Curriculum Leader to oversee curriculum, programs, and pedagogical approaches for Years 11 and 12. This role reports to the Principal through the Deputy Principal (Learning & Teaching) and ensures compliant delivery of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), VCE Vocational Major, VET, and School-Based Apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Deputy Principal (Learning & Teaching) and Curriculum Leaders to contribute to school improvement and achieve strategic goals.
- Oversee the delivery of VET, VCE Vocational Major, and VCE in compliance with VCAA requirements.
- Manage assessment processes, including examinations, SACs, SATs, and competency-based assessments.
- Build capacity of Learning Leaders in pedagogy, assessment, and reporting.
- Provide feedback to the Leadership Team for teaching load allocation.
- Support teacher professional growth, address performance concerns, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Develop targeted literacy and numeracy approaches for Years 11 & 12 students.
- Lead the review and implementation of Year 11 and 12 Curriculum options.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Principal for policies recognizing student achievement.
- Relevant teaching qualification and registration.
- Experience in curriculum leadership, preferably in Years 11 and 12.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent pedagogical skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
