The Sales Lead is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving a customer and product-focused sales culture. This dynamic individual will support management in promoting the company's values and guiding principles across all store operations.
Key Responsibilities- Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for achieving brand standards.
- Perform and oversee operational activities such as opening and closing duties, merchandise flow processes, and cash receipt reconciliation.
- Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, and customer services, utilizing weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, presenting and displaying merchandise accordingly.
- Develop high-performance cultures, motivating sales teams to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
- Train and coach team members to ensure fluency in product knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with store teams and management to lead positive change.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for career growth. Regular attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are essential.
Physical Requirements- Constant walking/standing (67-100% of 8-hour shift).
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
- Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).
