Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Consultant to deliver exceptional, client-focused services to individuals with varied care requirements. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments through standardized evaluations, interviews, and observational techniques.
  • Collaborating with clients, families, and key stakeholders to perform thorough assessments.
  • Setting realistic, functional, and individualized goals in alignment with assessment results and priorities.
  • Creating tailored treatment and therapy plans to address the unique needs of children, adolescents, and adults across diverse situations.
  • Monitoring and assessing progress and outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Providing guidance, education, and support to families, educators, and other professionals involved in the care process.
  • Delivering training in critical areas such as communication strategies, mealtime management, and meaningful engagement.
  • Engaging in additional responsibilities as required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participating in complex clinical assignments based on areas of expertise.
  • Contributing to intricate projects, including multi-agency collaborations and systemic interventions.
  • Coaching and mentoring fellow consultants, ensuring adherence to approved clinician development frameworks.
  • Maintaining regular communication and feedback with the Leadership Team regarding team strengths and development needs.
  • Collaborating with the team to implement and monitor relevant practice standards and quality improvement measures.
Compensation

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $95,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Candidate Profile
  • A degree in Speech Pathology and certified practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Experience or interest in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex needs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with conducting communication assessments and treatment planning for diverse age groups is advantageous.
