We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds.

Job Description

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, your primary responsibility will be to provide support and guidance to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being. Your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Assessing individual needs and developing tailored behaviour support plans
  • Providing one-on-one support and training to individuals, families, and carers
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders

You will work closely with our experienced Clinical Supervisors and other professionals to ensure that our clients receive high-quality, person-centred care. Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Applied Behavioural Analysis, or a related field (BCBA accreditation is desirable)
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, preferably in a Behaviour Support context
  • Understanding of restricted practices and the Quality and Safeguards Commission's guidelines
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • The ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and their families
