Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Fitter/Technician to join our team in Port Hedland. The successful candidate will be responsible for our Workshop Operations, including service/repair activities, Mine Site Test/Tag/Calibration activities, and proactive planning and coordination of workshop activities.
Key Responsibilities- Service/Repair of specialised equipment used in various applications
- Manage the Workshop Service/Repair processes in a proactive, efficient, and customer-focused manner
- Conduct Calibrations on a wide range of Measurement Equipment used in Industry
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy Workshop
- Play a key role in the development and expansion of Workshop services onto Customer sites
- Manage the training and development of Apprentices
- Minimum 2 years Industrial experience within mining or other Pilbara Industries (or similar)
- Australian Recognised Trade/Technical Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Current RTIO Site Inductions (desirable but not essential)
- Current Roy Hill Inductions (desirable but not essential)
- Current BHP Induction (desirable but not essential)
- Current FMG Induction (desirable but not essential)
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
- Flexibility to work on weekends occasionally to meet operational requirements
- MUST be able to pass Pre-Employment Medical and DAS
