Emergency Preparedness and Response Director Role

The Tasmanian health system is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit.

This critical position involves driving the development and implementation of emergency preparedness initiatives across the state, ensuring readiness for various scenarios.

You will provide strategic and policy advice to senior executives and represent the Department in multi-agency forums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice on matters relating to emergency preparedness and response.
  • Lead the implementation of the emergency preparedness program, projects, and initiatives.
  • Direct the Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification from a recognized tertiary institution or equivalent experience.
  • A current Driver's Licence.
  • Negative Vetting 1 level security clearance.
