Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to participate in our Emergency Nursing Development Program.

This 6-month program offers a structured clinical experience, focusing on developing foundation knowledge and skills in emergency nursing.

You will work closely with specialists and preceptors to gain competency in essential emergency clinical skills, including assessment and management of adult and paediatric patients.

The program provides varied learning opportunities and aims to ensure development of core foundation skills for safe delivery of care in the emergency department.

Key Skills Required
  • Management of fast track patients
  • Cardiac monitoring and ECG analysis
  • Respiratory assessment and management
  • Basic trauma patient management
  • Advanced neurological assessment and toxicology
  • Advanced principles of fluid management

Clinical Support Nurses will support participants to develop necessary clinical skills in the clinical setting.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Registered Nurse with acute nursing experience
  • Completion of clinical hurdles and a summative appraisal
