Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Panorama Heights Preschool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality education and care to young children.


About the Role
  • This is a part-time position working Monday & Wednesday 9:00am-3:00pm, Friday 8:30am-11:30am plus 3.75 hrs non-contact time (day TBC)
  • The successful applicant will work as part of a collaborative team to deliver a play-based educational program that is inclusive, responsive to individual children's strengths, interests and needs.
  • This role requires a Diploma Qualified Educator with proven experience working within a kindergarten environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Children's Services as a minimum
    - Proven experience working within a kindergarten
    - A comprehensive understanding of the VEYLDF, EYLF and NQF (including familiarity with the requirements of the National Regulations)
    - A sound knowledge of early childhood development and education and demonstrated ability to work effectively with children
    - The ability to develop effective & positive working relationships
    - Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    - Ability to ensure confidentiality of information
    - The ability to plan, work and manage time effectively with mínimal supervision
    - Knowledge of and experience with children with additional needs
    - Sound knowledge and understanding of Child Safety Standards
