Medical Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Receptionist to join our practice at Secret Harbour. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service to all patients and contribute to the smooth operation of our medical centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients and providing a professional greeting
  • Collecting and entering patient details into the database
  • Scheduling appointments as required
  • Answering telephone calls and enquiries
  • Providing administrative support and other ad hoc duties

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with previous experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills including a professional and personable telephone manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of Pracsoft/Medtech is an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
