About the Role

Monash Health is a leading healthcare provider in Victoria, and we are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our clinical team to provide high-quality speech pathology services to consumers with diagnosed or suspected mental illness and co-existing intellectual disability.

This is a part-time ongoing role, working 30.4 hours per week, and offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide communication and swallowing assessments and interventions to consumers
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve outcomes for consumers
  • Develop and implement capacity-building programs for stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of clear service policy and guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor or entry-level Masters Speech Pathology Qualification
  • Eligibility for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Minimum seven years' experience as a qualified Speech Pathologist
