Claims managers facilitate the handling of claims by Loss Adjusters, overseeing caseloads and property claims. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a portfolio of property claims
- Assisting Loss Adjusters with their workload
- Ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements and Industry Standards
- Coordinating new claim lodgements, triage, and allocation
- Initial contact with policyholders and brokers
- Organizing emergency repairs or make-safes
- Communicating with clients and updating external client systems
- General claims management and administrative tasks
A minimum of two years' experience in the insurance, claims, building and/or restoration sector is necessary. Claims managers require a positive and empathetic phone manner.
