Before and After School Education Specialists

The role of a Before and After School Care Leader is a pivotal position that requires a unique blend of educational expertise, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs for children aged 5-12 in Before School, After School, and Vacation Care.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and schools through open communication, empathy, and understanding.
- Act as a supportive team mentor, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth, innovation, and excellence.
Position Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience in before and after school care, demonstrating a track record of success and dedication to the field.
- A passionate and innovative approach to creating quality education and care for children aged 5-12, with a focus on their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Sound knowledge of the National Law & Regulations, the National Quality Framework, and the My Time, Our Place framework, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Preferably diploma qualifications in Outside School Hours Care or Children's Services, with a strong foundation in early childhood education and care.
- A willingness to engage in professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends, research, and best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- A current Employee Working with Children's Check (or a willingness to obtain).
- Child Protection Training (or a willingness to obtain).
Work Details:
- Part-time work available, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate different needs and preferences.
- General hours: Before School Care: 7:00 am - 9:00 am, After School Care: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, allowing for a balance between work and personal life.
