Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality emergency care in fast-paced acute units, managing urgent mental health crises, stabilizing patients, and coordinating with emergency services.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and support clients on their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate with local hospitals, palliative care services, and clinic staff to strengthen referral processes and build community trust.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mental health nursing, particularly in case management.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in regional & remote settings.
  • Cultural awareness working rural and remote and with Aboriginal and Torres Island communities.
