About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Assurance to join our Business Banking Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and executing data-driven assurance reviews to ensure the effective management of risks and obligations within our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of Line 2 reviews, identifying key areas of risk and business priorities through engagement with risk and business stakeholders.
  • Drive the timely execution and completion of Line 2 reviews, ensuring work is delivered according to scope and appropriate methodologies to produce meaningful outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels, investigating, collating, and evaluating evidence to formulate independent views on the effectiveness of risk management activities.
  • Develop data-driven assessment strategies and approaches to fulfill scope requirements.
  • Provide updates and reporting of progress and outcomes from Line 2 reviews in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and executing data-driven assurance reviews, particularly in a Line 2 or Line 3/Audit role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence peers, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Strong data analysis and data visualization skills.
  • Strong report writing and verbal presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Operational Risk/Compliance Risk and Assurance methodologies.
  • Knowledge of commercial banking and lending products, commercial acumen, and financial services regulatory landscape.
