About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned programme master scheduler to assist in implementing an integrated delivery schedule that aligns with corporate practices. This role involves collaborating with the PDS Programme PMO, Portfolio & Value Management custodians, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the integrated programme schedule and project schedules, including dependencies and constraints.
  • Monitor and control programme and project schedules by tracking progress, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Conduct critical path analysis to identify schedule risks, proposing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather schedule-related information and ensure alignment.
  • Prepare schedule reports and presentations to communicate schedule status and performance to various audiences.
  • Mentor and develop capability within staff regarding integrated programme and project schedules, actively facilitating knowledge transfer.
RequirementsEssential Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in programme scheduling, particularly within complex structures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to mentor and train others.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies and risk management practices.
  • Strong ability to analyse data and inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in other project management software and tools, with excellent presentation skills.
