Cold Storage Voice Picker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cold Storage Voice Picker to join our team at Labourforce. The successful candidate will be required to work a Thursday to Monday roster, with opportunities to pick up extra days throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate voice picking equipment to efficiently pick and pack products in a cold storage environment.
  • Drive tugger vehicles to transport products within the warehouse.
  • Work a minimum of 5 days per week, with a non-negotiable Thursday to Monday roster for the first 6 months.
  • Be available to work AM shifts, starting as early as 2AM, with the possibility of working up to 12 hours when required.
  • Pass a medical examination through Labourforce.
  • Work in a cold storage environment, including freezer and chiller rooms, with temperatures as low as -22 degrees.

Requirements:

  • Have your own reliable transportation.
  • Have experience in voice picking and tugger driving.
  • Be able to sit through and be successful in a medical examination through Labourforce.
  • Be able to work in a cold storage environment, both freezer and chiller rooms.
