Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer at Associate Director level to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills and the ability to drive delivery across multiple major projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership within the Australian transport structures team, contributing to HDR's global Bridges and Structures Business Class. This includes leading design teams, managing complex projects, and developing structural asset management deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience in all aspects of bridge design projects
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and ability to work with various teams
  • Strong communication skills and willing to work in a team environment
  • Must be comfortable being viewed as a technical expert in engineering analysis and design and have proven background of technical leadership on these types of projects
