We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team at LiveBig in Rockingham. As a Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, providing high-quality clinical supports in home or community settings such as schools and group homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, intervention, reporting, therapy planning, and clinical recommendations within the scope of your clinical discipline.
- Work with a diverse caseload, including children and adults with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop goals.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy.
- Current registration as a Speech Pathologist with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Experience working with people with disabilities and the NDIS is preferred but not essential.
- Paediatric and/or adult experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills and organisational skills.
- IT skills at an intermediate level, including computer and mobile, and a willingness to embrace new technology.
- A willingness to work in a community services setting and provide services within the community, including in-home.
