Medical Professional Opportunity

We seek a skilled Medical Officer to transition from a clinical setting and work in a corporate environment.

  • This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with two days of work-from-home flexibility.
  • The salary package is competitive, with an annual performance-based bonus available.
  • You will be part of a dynamic team of medical doctors working together to make a real difference in the lives of claimants.
  • Your expertise will be utilized to provide advice and guidance to the claims team, using medical evidence to train and develop their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide medical advice and expertise to the claims team.
  2. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the medical knowledge of the claims team.
  3. Communicate complex medical information effectively to non-medical stakeholders.
  4. Evaluate GP reports to determine potential support for claimants.
  5. Contribute to project work, reviewing and developing medical guidelines for claims management.

Requirements:

  • A medical degree and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Broad knowledge of medical conditions impacting claimant ability to work and treatment options.
