Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional to join our team as an Assistant in Nursing. This is a permanent part-time role covering afternoon shifts, including weekends.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to provide high-quality, safe, and effective personal care that aligns with individual resident choices and best practice.

You will be responsible for assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living, medication administration, and mealtime assistance, while also completing documentation based on Aegis requirements.

In addition, you will deliver excellent customer service to residents, their families, and external parties.

About You
  • You must be able to work cooperatively within a team and with a wide range of people.
  • You should have a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • You should be proactive, with good organisation and time management skills.
  • You should have strong problem-solving ability and use initiative when dealing with unexpected situations.
  • You should have a positive and friendly personality, with a passion for assisting our residents to maintain their quality of life.
Essential Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or higher/equivalent) or working towards nursing qualification.
  • At least 1 year experience in aged care.
  • Competent in Medication Administration or willing to work towards (desirable).
  • Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
